THE WORK ON THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEGUN.

WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY PERSON IN THIS COUNTRY IS AN AGENT FOR CHANGE.

ALL THEY NEED IS THE RIGHT CALL TO ACTION, AND A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY TO DRIVE THEM.


We also know that change isn’t easy.  It happens one person at a time.  It takes time, patience, and faith.  
While we strongly believe in the power of grassroots transformation, we also know the importance
of reaching the grasstops - the policy makers and thought leaders who set change into motion at scale.

Our social impact strategy will rely on several levers to increase our reach and broaden our scope of change.


THE CALL TO ACTION

Once the film is over, our audience will be directed to an interactive online portal where a very clear call to action will be revealed.  A step-by-step guide to Lyme activism will list long and short-term goals and highly specific methods for achieving those goals.  
Whether it be by signing a petition, hosting a screening, or organizing a phone bank—audience members will become activists.

POLITICAL ADVOCACY

By merging the educational with the emotional, we are positioned to capture an audience while relaying the facts and demanding action.  Our film will be brought to legislators—including those on Capitol Hill - to support current and future Lyme legislation.  
Think of our film as a proof of concept.  If the proposed legislation is the "what," and politicians are the "how"—our film is the "why."

GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY SCREENINGS

We’ll build a robust community screening program that will bring The Lyme Trials to local audiences across the nation and globe.  
Through the creation of an ambassador program, we’ll empower regional changemakers to bring the film to their community centers, schools, offices, and homes.  Our film will spark meaningful dialogues, build community, and drive people to take action.

social media campaign

A top-tier marketing team will develop a digital strategy for the film's social impact campaign and online audience engagement.
By promoting our film to highly targeted audiences through social media, we will also be promoting Lyme disease awareness.
With the support of high-profile celebrity activists and change-makers, we will thrust Lyme disease into the national spotlight.
